In Portugal, the consumer price index (CPI) of industrial production fluctuated during the period considered according to the activity. The CPI referring to the manufacture of electrical equipment and of unspecified machinery and equipment had similar values and generally increased over time. The CPI of repair and installation of machinery had inferior values, but also a rising tendency. Contrarily, the CPI of electricity, gas, steam, water, and air conditioning presented the most significant variation, peaking at 121.32 in March 2022 and recording 105.27 in October 2024.
