In 2022, around 34,272 international students were enrolled in degree and nondegree programs at colleges and universities in Beijing, China. 27,652 of them were degree students, while 6,620 were nondegree students. The number of students has decreased during the coronavirus pandemic. The largest share of international students came from other countries and regions in Asia.
