According to a 2024 survey conducted among employees in the Asia-Pacific region, at least eight out of 10 surveyed employees believed that generative AI (GenAI) will have positive impacts on their careers by creating chances for them to learn new skills or improve their work quality as well as creativity. However, more than half of the respondents were concerned about the negative impacts of GenAI.

respondents are all active in the labor market, work across various industries, represent diverse demographic profiles, and follow different working patterns. The survey was conducted in countries and territories including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
