Women's sports sponsorship impact in the UK 2023
A 2023 survey in the United Kingdom explored public perception of brands that sponsor women's sport. Just under 45 percent of respondents stated that they would feel more positively about a sponsoring brand that addressed the inequality of opportunities provided to women and girls in grassroots sports. Meanwhile, just over 10 percent of respondents claimed that they would feel more negatively about a brand sponsorship that reportedly paid female athletes more than male athletes.
