In 2023, consumers in the United Kingdom revealed their preferred payment methods for online shopping. Credit and debit cards were the top e-commerce choices for both domestic and international purchases, with 69 and 63 percent of surveyed UK shoppers opting for them, respectively. PayPal ranked second, followed by direct debit, banking payments, and Apple Pay.
