Looking at expected changes in online shopping behavior across Western Europe in 2023, consumers in the Netherlands were projected to spend a lot more in the next 12 months. More than half of Dutch respondents indicated their intention to increase their online spending. In contrast, nearly a quarter of respondents in France and the UK said they intend to reduce e-spending.

* The study was conducted across Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK. Around 1,000 surveys were conducted in each market, and a mix of age ranges, income brackets and genders was included.
