By 2027, newspaper and magazine revenues in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region are expected to reach an all-time low of 1.2 billion U.S. dollars. Revenues were at their peak of two billion dollars in 2018, but ever since sales have continued to dwindle. Since 2020, revenues have consistently declined by 100 million USD every two years.
