Greenhouse gas emissions from the agricultural sector in Turkey 2012-2021
Greenhouse gas emissions caused by the agricultural sector in Turkey generally increased with some oscillation from 2012 to 2021. In 2021, GHG emissions of the agricultural sector peaked at 564.4 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (MtCO₂e). The lowest figure reported during the period in consideration was in 2013, with about 440 MtCO₂e.
