According to a national survey in 2021, a large majority of health care workers said they felt more stressed at work during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nurses were more likely than other health professionals or workers to report so. Compared to other health care workers, physicians were more likely to report having to change their care delivering methods, which most likely reflects a shift to virtual care during the pandemic.
