According to a survey on the news industry in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in 2022, 68 percent of respondents in Egypt said that they preferred watching video for news consumption. Likewise, the majority of respondents in the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia said that they preferred video for news consumption at 67 and 62 percent, respectively.
