According to a survey on the news industry in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in 2022, 95 percent of respondents in the United Arab Emirates said that they preferred using mobile phones for accessing news online. While 91 percent of respondents in both Saudi Arabia and Egypt also preferred using a mobile phone for accessing news online.
