During an October 2023 survey among business-to-business (B2B) marketing decision-makers in the United States, more than half (or 53 percent) selected misaligned marketing and business goals as obstacles in trying to demonstrate the value of their efforts. The absence of means to measure success and difficulties translating marketing metrics into business insights followed, mentioned by 47 and 46 percent of respondents, respectively.
