In the first half of 2023, Agent Tesla and Emotet were by far the most frequently detected variants of remote access Trojans, with 37 and 30 percent of all detected RATs, respectively. REMCOS ranked third and was found in over five percent of RATs. Remote access Trojans, or RATs, are malicious software programs that enable unauthorized individuals to access and control a victim's computer or network remotely.
