Manufacturing locations of Arcelik worldwide 2023, by country

The Turkish appliance maker Arcelik operated manufacturing sites in 31 locations across nine countries worldwide in 2023. Most of Arcelik's manufacturing sites were located in Turkey, the company's home market. It is the only country where Arcelik has a double-digit number of manufacturing sites. Other countries where Arcelik has at least three manufacturing sites are Russia, Thailand, and Pakistan. Arcelik also had production facilities in China, India, and South Africa. 

Asia remains a leading hub for home appliance manufacturing

Similarly, other home appliance giants have a diverse range of manufacturing locations worldwide. For instance, Groupe SEB, like Arcelik, has a significant manufacturing presence in Asia, with a third of its production facilities being located there. Moreover, 40 percent of Groupe SEB’s production is outsourced, mostly to China. Whirlpool, on the other hand, operated manufacturing sites in 34 locations across 10 countries in 2023, with a significant presence in its home market of the United States, and over six locations in Asia.
