In 2022, about 495 billion yuan worth of non-sports fashion products were sold via shopping malls, accounting for 31.7 percent of the total sales value in China's non-sports fashion market. That year, the market recorded a total retail sales of about 1.56 trillion yuan. Online channels were expected to play an increasingly important role in the retail sales of non-sports fashion products, making up around 34.4 percent of the market in 2027.
