Number of sadaqah beneficiaries since the UNHCR Zakat Fund launch worldwide 2020-2022

In 2022, nearly 840,000 people received assistance through sadaqah contributions made to the UNHCR's Refugee Zakat Fund, which was launched in 2017. Since 2020, when roughly half a million people received assistance from the fund, the number of beneficiaries of the program has continued to increase.
