Main foreign nationalities in Turin 2022

In 2022, Romanian nationals constituted the largest foreign community in the municipality of Turin, one third of the total number of immigrant citizens. Morocco ranked at the second place with 12 percent of the non-Italian residents. As the graph shows, there was an extensive prevalence of Romanians over all the other nationalities, which did not reach 10,000 individuals, with Moroccans only being above this threshold. These data are consistent with the main nationalities of foreign citizens in Italy. In fact, in the same year, Romania and Morocco constituted the first and the second country of origin for non-Italian residents nationwide.
