In fact, the most numerous age range was the one between 40 and 64 years old, grouping more than 35 percent of the inhabitants, with an equal distribution between men and women. On the contrary, under-20 citizens represented 12 percent of the total population and only one third of the residents aged from 40 to 64. Females were more represented in the over-40 age groups, whereas males prevailed in those under-40.
