In 2022, net profits of the top ten local banks in the United Arab Emirates reached 15.5 billion U.S. dollars. This was a 26.6 percent increase over 2021 when net profits measured in at 12 billion U.S. dollars. Nevertheless, this was a smaller increase seen in 2021, when net profits had jumped by roughly five million from 2020.
