The records of receipts include records such as the “receipt date,” “recipient,” “item name,” and “quantity” of incoming raw materials or purchased goods and ingredients. The records of shipments include records such as the “shipment date,” “destination,” “item name,” and “quantity” of products.
The methods of preservation include entry into “ledgers” or other accounting books, electronic data on computers, as well as documents provided by suppliers or recipients such as “delivery slips” and “invoices,” and documents issued by transportation companies such as “shipping notes.”
