As of fiscal year 2022, the information security programs implemented by 61 percent of U.S. government CFO and Non-CFO Act agencies were rated as overall "effective," down from 64 percent of agencies in fiscal year 2021. Overall, the share of U.S. government agencies with sufficient information security programs implemented has increased since fiscal year 2017.
