In December 2023, Epic Games was the most popular video game publisher across Xbox and PlayStation gaming consoles, accounting for 13.9 percent of monthly active users on the platforms. The resurgence of Fortnite has led to Epic Games overtaking the previous leader, Electronic Arts (EA), who made up 13.6 percent of console gaming MAU during the measured month.
