Public tennis courts renovated by the LTA and UK government 2024, by region
As of March 2024, nearly 1,800 public park tennis courts had been renovated by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and the government in the United Kingdom under an initiative called the Park Tennis Court Programme. The region in the UK with the most refurbished tennis courts was London, with 531 courts renovated, while Wales had the fewest, with 89. There has been an increase in the number of tennis players in Great Britain in recent years, increasing by around 10 percent between 2018 and 2022.
