In an August 2023 study by Statista, Germany was the European country with the highest share of accommodation businesses that already used artificial intelligence (AI). Overall, two in ten surveyed companies in Germany reported already using AI, whereas just four percent in Spain did the same. That said, nearly a quarter of Spanish accommodation businesses planned to use AI over the next six months.
