In 2023, a survey on second-hand shopping revealed that U.S. adults with a yearly income of less than 50,000 U.S. dollars were most likely to buy used clothing or accessories, with 49 percent of respondents reporting that they had already done so. On the other hand, the share of shoppers who haven't purchased used clothing was highest among those earning more than 150,000 U.S. dollars per year.
