In a survey conducted in March 2023 among Australian consumers regarding their dining out habits, the leading way diners reported discovering new restaurants was through recommendations from family and friends, with every eight in 10 respondents indicating this. Google was the next most prevalent discovery channel for restaurants and food venues among those surveyed.
