States in the U.S. with large Latino populations may not necessarily have the highest rate of eligible Latino voters. While Latinos made up 27 percent of Florida's population, only 58 percent of them were eligible to vote in 2022. In total, just over half of the Latino population in the U.S. were eligible to vote in elections.

The source states that Maine, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, and West Virginia have not been included due to having Latino populations less than 50,000.
