As of December 2023, according to a survey carried out among French influencers, after the introduction of a new influencer law in June 2023, content creators were mostly concerned with the impact coming from the obligation to mention "advertising" or "commercial collaboration" in their posts and the obligation to declare the receipt of brand sent products or gifts - 47 percent of respondents pointing to those two changes, respectively.
