In 2022, the incidence among the most common cancer types in Germany differed across age groups. Among individuals from the age groups 0 to 44 and 45 to 65 years old, breast cancer had the highest incidence, at 25.6 and 18.5 percent, respectively. Conversely, for those aged 65 and above, prostate cancer had the highest incidence, at 15.6 percent.
