Cargo volume handled at PAT ports 2022, by port
In 2022, most cargo volume was handled at Laem Chabang Port, among the ports operated by the Port Authority of Thailand (PAT), amounting to around 96.5 billion metric tons. This was followed by the other major PAT port, Bangkok Port, with a cargo volume of around 18.7 billion metric tons. In contrast, only 66.8 thousand metric tons of cargo were handled at Ranong Port that year. Another important port in Thailand is Sriracha deep sea port, which is privately owned and not operated by the Port Authority of Thailand.
