The lowest average purchase price per kilogram in Romania in 2022 was for grain maize at 1.31 Romanian lei; the price for one egg was 0.54 Romanian lei, which has increased by 50 percent since 2020. The highest increase in meat prices was for mutton, its price per kilogram rising by approximately 51 percent from 2020 to 2022.
