According to a survey conducted in 2023 on consumer sustainability in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, 15 percent of 27 companies operating in Morocco provided CDP climate impact disclosures. Whereas, 12 percent of 34 companies in Saudi Arabia and 11 percent of 35 companies in the United Arabic Emirates provided disclosures. During the same period, no company in Bahrain, Oman, and Tunisia provided any CDP disclosures.

The CDP is a non-profit organization that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impact including deforestation and water security.
