Off-trade retail wine sales, encompassing sales at physical retail outlets such as supermarkets and liquor stores, accounted for over 60 percent of all wine sales in Australia in 2023. In comparison, off-trade e-commerce made up only 10 percent of wine sales in the country that same year.
