Between the period of August 30 to November 28, 2023, presidential and vice presidential candidates Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka had the highest amount of spending on advertising through Meta platforms for the 2024 national election in Indonesia, reaching about 2.3 billion Indonesian rupiah. With over 204 million registered voters representing around 75 percent of its population, Indonesia held the world's largest single-day election to choose a new president, vice president, parliamentary and local representatives on February 14, 2024.
