According to a survey held in the United States in the summer of 2023, Democrats were the most likely to use network TV news as their primary source of information about the 2024 presidential election, with 55 percent saying they did so. Engagement with election news via newspapers was lowest among Republicans and Independents, whereas social media news engagement was slightly higher among Democrat voters.
