In 2022, a survey on healthy aging indicated that one third of adults in the U.S. from the age group 50 to 60 years had no symptoms of arthritis. However, when analyzing the age group 65 to 80 years, only 26 percent reported not having any arthritis symptoms. Those aged 65 to 80 years were more likely to report mild, moderate or severe levels of arthritis symptoms compared to those aged 50 to 64 years. This statistic depicts the percentage of older U.S. adults with different levels of arthritis symptoms in 2022, by age group.
