In 2023, Mexico had a total renewable capacity of 32 gigawatts. By 2030, the Latin American country plans to increase this figure to roughly 52 gigawatts. Solar is expected to be the leading renewable energy source by that year, reaching an installed capacity of at least 23 gigawatts.
