Between January and March 2023, political advertisements in print in India saw the highest growth which is 39 percent in March. Despite fluctuations, political ad insertions in print grew throughout the surveyed period. The surge in political advertising was as a result of assembly elections to be held in five Indian states that year and the general elections looming ahead in 2024.
