According to a survey on sustainable consumption in Indonesia conducted by Rakuten Insight in December 2023, approximately 87 percent of female and 82 percent of male respondents stated that they reduced their use of single-use plastic in the past year. The same survey also revealed that making environmental friendly products more affordable would encourage more people to adopt more sustainable consumption practices.
