India was the G20 country with the highest NEET rate (people not in education, employment, or training) among young women as of 2022, reaching over 40 percent. On the other hand, Japan had the lowest female youth NEET rate of the G20 members. It also had the lowest male youth NEET rate, whereas South Africa had the highest among men.
