According to an October 2023 survey, six in 10 consumers in the United States spent less on travel and dining out in the past six months. That said, while roughly two-thirds of respondents with an annual income of up to 100 thousand U.S. dollars reported doing so, just 52 percent of consumers who earned more than 100,000 U.S. dollars a year mentioned spending less on such experiences.
