Sales value of nicotine products in the Eastern Mediterranean region 2020, by product

In 2020, the retail sales value of cigarettes in the Eastern Mediterranean region was worth 30 billion U.S. dollars. This was by far the highest retail value of any tobacco product during the period, and more than ten times the value of the next most popular tobacco product, smoking tobacco. Smokeless tobacco and NRT smoking cessation products were the least popular worth 21 and 18 million U.S. dollars respectively.
