According to a study conducted in the European Union, there were over 1.5 million pieces of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) reports in 2022, of which 724 reports were filed to the police. It is, therefore, estimated that there were around 1,720 websites hosting such content in the EU. Poland and France contained the highest share of websites that possibly contained CSAM, each accounting for around 15 percent of the total.

Based on the number of Lithuanian websites with CSAM, then multiplied by the number of CSAM reports to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) from other EU countries.
