Over 60 percent of the people employed in the electricity generation sector worldwide in 2022 were from the Asian Pacific electricity industry. China led the ranking with over 4.5 million employees. Together with the United States, China and India accounted for some of the largest volume of electricity generated worldwide as of that year.
