In 2023, the majority of live music attendees in the United States said that being a fan of the artist or act performing was one of the main reasons to attend an event. However, attending a live music event is also a social activity, as socializing and celebrating special occasions were also among the top motivations to attend, with 30 percent and 24 percent respectively.
