According to Google's report on ad transparency, the Indian National Congress (INC), one of India's major national political parties, spent the lion's share of its online advertising budget on Google Ads shown in the state of Telangana as of January 2024, worth over 73 million Indian rupees. Over the past five years, the party spent over 140 million rupees on more than a thousand online ads.
