According to a 2023 survey of internet users in Canada, the majority of users aged 35 to 44 years reported using smartphones to access and surf the internet, with 71 percent of respondents in this age group reporting smartphone usage. In contrast, users aged 75 years and older mainly reported accessing the internet through desktops and laptops in 2023.
