Share of children who saw a dentist in England 2018-2023
In June 2023, the majority of children and adolescents five years and above had seen a dentist in the previous year. The share of patients who have seen a dentist has been steadily decreasing since March 2020 to an all time low in March 2021 and has since increased, but not yet to pre-pandemic levels. Nevertheless, the rate of increase has been faster than that of adults.
