Premium backpack buyers would pay for sustainable items in the U.S. 2023

In 2023, the vast majority of surveyed backpack purchasers in the United States said they would be willing to invest more money for sustainable products. Specifically, about a third of respondents said they would be willing to pay a premium of five to nine percent for sustainably sourced options. Less than 10 percent was willing to pay an additional amount of 25 percent or more.
