According to an annual survey conducted in China in the beginning of 2025, almost 64 percent of surveyed female respondents who did not want to get married said the reason for that was their doubtful or negative attitudes towards marriage. Meanwhile, enjoying being single was the driving reason to not get married among male respondents.
